Situated near the artsy Telliskivi area and right next to the Balti Market & Station, this little 3-ish room pub provides a cosy, lovely atmosphere with good priced beers.
The "living room" title is extremely appropriate and describes the interior and the vibes perfectly. Comfortable couches littered against sturdy cafe tables and banquette seating.
The decor feels fairly situate in the 60s/70s with much gold and teal abound. Baar did have a fantastic stove (Lihtpott Ahjud) resplendent in white tiles and black fixture. Not sure if it was working or not, but glad it wasn't on while we were there in a heatwave! The stoves are fairly common from what we could tell, but they are still great to look at.
Toilet is single shared gender, black and aubergine, and slightly terrifying. Included an imposing black stove in there to further increase the terrifying-ness.
Not the largest beer selection in the world, but it's served cold, fresh, and by very friendly staff.
Very reasonable 50cL, which is unusual.
Music was acceptable with a generic rock playlist.
Dog friendly (and it did come with a very friendly dog).
The view from the front room looking over the station across the road. View of the bar room and middle room from the front room.Ratings
