I'm usually moderately okay with £7.50 for a pint. I'm from London; I am used to it. But that much for a good (definitely not great) 4.5% XPA just didn't quite cut it. It was so shocking and off putting that TBW (the beer wife) decided she didn't even want to have a drink at all.

Another amazingly beautiful building in York (on the right in the picture above).

Didn't stay around too long to glean much more to be completely honest.
