A quick walk from our previous location along York's city walls and we landed here for some food and drink.

The pub itself is a 15th century inn and the indoor rooms have all of the charm and character still, complete with low beamed ceilings and an inglenook fireplace.

Outdoor area leaves a bit more to be desired.

Surprisingly not too busy as compared with the previous spot. I wonder if it's because it's just that 5 minutes further out from the city centre.

We ordered some food which cheap and very cheerful.
