The Dog House - Beddington, London
2025-12-20
Address: 14 The Broadway, Beddington, Croydon CR0 4QR
Pouring from: 4 gravity casks, 4 still ciders, 2 bottled lager, 2 bottled cider
We drank: Ho Ho Hoppy Christmas by Tiny Rebel, an Power Shot IPA by Bristol Beer Factory, Fairytale of Brew York by Brew York, and a Scrumpy Dry Lillie's Cider
Situated in an old stop just off the main roundabout the through Beddington. A charming collection of odd bits of wooden furniture for seating.
The beers were delicious and excellently priced, but unfortunately the range wasn't quite there. Only 4 available which is normally fine, but when 2 are stouts and there are no bitters or milds... Just would've been nice to have a couple more options.
It was a little bit uncomfortably quiet when we were there. Only 2 other punters drinking. The only audio was the horse racing. No music.
Unfortunately it is an absolute ball ache to get through no matter where you are in London. We were coming from Mitcham which feels close, but still took an hour to get there.
