The Garden Shed - Collier's Wood, London
2025-10-01
Address: 145 Haydons Rd, London SW19 1AN
Pouring from: 9 or so kegs. No cask!
We drank: Brixton Lager and Pale Ale
A seemingly family focussed pub (at least midday on a Saturday it was) with a large main room wrapping around the bar. Outdoor area is quite nice. Again heaps of space. Some booths, some covered tables, some open seating to catch the sun.
Beer selection was better that some, but certainly not good. Standard lagers and Gamma Rays, but also some Brixton brewery ones too. £13.50 for 2 plain pints is a bit steep.
Food is standard pub grub. We ordered burgers. For £16 a burger you'd expect it to be quite a feature, but they were quite small in the end. Tasted good. Just not worth the price to be honest.
We did like everything here, it just felt a little bit expensive for the location and beer selection let it down.
The Sultan is just down the road and The Traf a little bit further and both have twice the beer options for half 2/3rds the price.
