We drank: The Excalibur by Yorkshire Heart and Ragnar by Rudgate

Adorable Victorian era building with a number of different rooms, each with their own character and purpose. Delightful brickwalled back garden with plenty of sun.

Everything about it felt fantastic. Really not much more to say than that. It was our favourite pub in York.

(I struggled capturing the neat little Victorian seating arrangements and room layout appropriately with my camera - here's one of the seats though)
