We drank: Against The Grain by Wold Top and Yorkshire Blonde by Ossett Brewery

About 1.5 hours walk NW of York. The first 3/4 of which is a lovely walk up the River Ouse, then 20 minutes down a busy highway and 20 mins down the quiet main road to Nether Poppleton.

Cute low ceiling pub with a good looking menu (we didn't try any unfortunately).

The pub has been here since 1700s and recently saved by the local community from the previous landlord wanting to knock it down and put apartments.

Has won a bunch of very deserving Camra and other awards.
