Address: Sleapshyde Ln, St Albans AL4 0SE

Pouring from: 2 casks (4 in total, but 2 were off) and 10 kegs

We drank: Pale Ale by Bass and IPA by 3 Brewers

Classic country pub with extremely low ceilings. Lots of exposed wood and a pretty cosy feeling to it. There was a bit of an outdoor area we didn't venture in because the weather wasn't the best.

Served a good range of beer, including even a couple of crafty things. Always a pleasant surprise when these sorts of places served more than just Hawkstone. Ale was very fresh, albeit a bit cold.

I think the focus of the pub is more food given their Google Maps page, but the beer is more than passable and not too expensive.

Unfortunately played Fleetwood Mac while we were here

Lovely little corner of the Plough.

Arthur in the pub

They even have cute dogs

Cute old boxer
